3 days ago the male kicked out one egg, thought it was infertile one, but found out some movement in the egg this morning! Hope it will hatch out soon! The male is fanning other eggs in the cave now! Now I can update to the 5th spawn on 4/13.

1/29 Updated fry hatched out 45days and 3rd spawn of 9 frys hatched out on 1/28.

Too bad that 2nd spawn failed on 1/1.

It should be a very old female.

Yes, this is the female that laid 26 eggs; she is around 9cm and almost same big as the male! BTW, she laid 28 eggs last year!!

For the caves, if I were you, maybe I will not put them next to each other; or at least have some space between two caves.
Generally speaking, the setup looks very nice; zebras will love your setup.

This first spawn the female laied 16 eggs, one fry was kicked out with broken yoalk sact and I am afraid the male will accidently do it again; therefore, I decided to remove the eggs out of the cave.

On 12/16 pm 18:30, all 15 frys are hatched out. Hope they will all be fine.

Just flash the light into the cave again(really can't help myself), almost all the eggs are hached out, the male is bouncing the wirgglers. :)
Now here comes the question and decision; should I remove the frys into the trap or not? I really dont know!
For now, I want to let them ...

After 18 months trying to breed L046, I found out there were 2 frys out beside the cave this morning!

Quickly I flash the light into the cave, there are more eggs that the male is taking care of; I can see the black dots of the eyes one the eggs but they still not hacth out yet. Expect they will ...
