L316 (New Zebraplec) for sale

Post by Des »

Hi ,

Was looking to purchase some L316 ( also known as the New Zebra) for myself but am required to buy a box of 26 minimum. I dont need or have the space for that many. If all goes well , should have them next week. Size not known at this time.
See the attached link for picture. Patterning is variable.

Was wondering if any one would be interested in any. Price £25 each, possible discount for qty. Collect only, from South London.
If any one is interested, please reply or send me a PM.

Regards,
Des.

You and me both Adam! I found the L236. They're going to cost more than zebras are going for though!

Well done Barbie, I would give an arm or a leg for some of those. I have heard that they can be just as expensive as zebras. Does the place you found ship to the UK, please say they do.

Not that I know of, no, but I'll check and see! You end up paying quite a bit in import fees and what not, if I remember right.

Thanks Barbie, I may not have any choice as I can't seem to find them anywhere in the UK. I have made countless phone calls over the last few weeks. I think I'm starting to pee some people off as I may have rung them a few times about them. You know how it is when you find a must have fish.

Adam,

No problem about hijacking my thread. It was getting a little lonely up here all by myself with my one thread and no replies  LOL.
No I didnt get them, as I couldnt keep all that many for myself.
Its good to see what L numbers others are interested in.
I will ask one of my contacts again about L236. I asked a few weeks ago about both L236 and L250 and both were unavailable.
I have just placed an order with one of my LFS for some L28 Angelicas Pleco(Hypancistrus) and some L129 which are labelled as Black and white Hypancistrus on the wholesalers list. It appears that they might not be the L129 as on PC , which I am hoping for and that they may be ,in fact L316 or L199.

Sid ,

L015 is the standard Peckoltia Vitata. Is that what you really wanted.?
I have what I think are a pair of LDA01 which I think are a little more colourful.
Regards,
Des.

Des, you can definately count me in if you manage to get hold of either L236 or L250. I am also quite interested in L345 mainly because the pattern is so variable from spots to wavy lines. I think Pandadosmares got some recently. I may be wrong Des but don't L129 have yellow and black stripes?

I'm fairly sure that Wharf Aquatics have some L129 at the moment, their number is: 01773 861255.

Let me know if you have any luck finding either L236 or L250.

Many thanks.

Barbie,

how much were the L236 that you found. I'm also trying to find L236 and L250. I was told that right now brazil plecs are not very easy to get because the water level is still very high, making it hard to get to. Maybe in a few more weeks it will come down.

The L236 were $160 each. Julie at Frybabies has them. She ordered them for herself to work with and to sell a few to me, so I'm not sure just how many she actually has. I about flipped out when she asked if there would be any interest in them, so she went ahead and risked it. They were already high priced on the export list, and then they shipped them from Brazil, 4 to a box. That REALLY tacks on the shipping expense. You can email her at julie at frybabies.com (sorry, you'll have to type it to keep her from getting deluged with spam).
