Congratulations on the spawn Arctic Circle. It's a shame they all didn't survive but nevertheless you've added 11 more Zebras to the world count!
Good on you!

Cheers,

Nick.

They are sooo tiny! :)

Good for you to care for them.

They look so scared though... Do you have something to give them to hide under? :?

As spawns go that is quite massive. Just goes to show that anything is possible...

Just out of interest what have you fed the adults before they spawned?

Good luck with that group.

24 is very large, it might have been a new record if they'd all survied :D . The biggest spawn I am aware of is 22 at the moment, unless someone knows different.
11 fry is still a good result though..well done and keep up the good work :D

They get every night Dr.Bassleers biofish food granulates, size L. They get also frozen artemia and much more, but granulates are main food, it contains over 50% protein.

Female is 9 cm long, much bigger than other females. It seems that it is "alfa" female, it fights all the time with other females and it is guarding my alfa males cave.

That's intresting... The female is more deadly than the male!

Is your large female WC or F1/F2?

And out of intrest do you feed veggies for the sake of fibre in their diets?

All the best and good luck.

Female is WC old lady :) They get Jbl Novo Plecochips, i think that they get fibres in that.

All 11 babys are still alive and they eat now.
