Hi all
My L270 have successfully bred in the tank I setup for my future zebs (I have posted a pic of he tank in the gallery)
Anyway a few details
1 male and 2 females
Eggs were spawned in one of the caves (far left)
14 fry which are now approx 1.5cm (maybe 3-4 weeks old)
Also moved the adults and fry to new setup just for them and during the move spotted 8 new eggs in the same cave
These eggs hatched in new setup and are now free swimming and yolk sack gone
Sorry I have no pics but have been spending time ensuring the fry stay alive and changing all of my smaller setups to slate bottoms.
Hopefully next weekend I am going to purchase a very small tank for taking detailed pictures of the adults and fry (removing from the tank to the small tank for pictures is the only way I will be able to get a closeup as the little buggers are good at hiding)
I now have two 120 liter setups with the slate bottom and slate caves and will be changing my other small tank (rio 125) soon as well so I will post updated pics of these too.
Thank you everyone for the great advise I have been reading on the forums
