Best way to disinfect a tank after disease ????

Anyone recommend ways to disinfect a tank after disease ? Want to move my Zebs to a tank I had fish in that kept dying but could not work out what they had ???

Hi Craig, I use any kind of baby sterilisers on my equipment usully in tablet form, may sound daft but it works for me!
There must be other fish disinfectants other people may recommend. :)

Not sure what the fish had it was a community tank with neons to gouramis thought mite been ick ?? Few got few spots and died others shown no signs of anything and then died. My Zebs are all fine and clear in another tank I have but wanted to move tanks as its a better size and I now have 8 Zebs just wanted it to be clean. Been told to totally dry it out clean it well dry again and it will be ok ??? Going to cycle a new filter in it once and if it's ok to transfer my zebs

Cheers Steve I have dried tank out striped the filter out and threw everything away that was in tank going to buy new filter to cycle do you think be safe to transfer my Zebs then going to leave the tank for wk to totally dry off cheers

I have used bleach before & potasium permanganate successfully.
