Christmas come early.

Post by Stevie.K »

Checked a cave tonight that had spawned 17 days ago & had fry, another female had been trapped in the cave for 2 days but she had left & looked like the fry had as well,
so I had a look in the tank & thought there was maybe 6 fry, this is what I found & there is still 3 fry in the cave. :D
These have bred before 3 times but only managed 4 fry before & the female is one I have bred myself & spawned with a wild male.
I would normally leave fry in with adults but decided to place them in a trap so fingers crossed they will be ok until they are a bit bigger.

Looking good. There are often more fry than one thinks, which is always a pleasant surprise.
What makes the common person uncommon is common sense.
