Hi
My L-28 hypancistrus spawned last night i a tank with smaller fish like guppy and I'm afraid they will eat the young when they hatch.
My question is, should I remove the eggs and the male together or leave them alone?

Leave them alone for now. In a couple weeks you can decide if you want to take the wiggling fry from the male before they go loose in the tank, but for now, you want him to take care of them. It's both good experience for him, and you'll find he's a better parent than you'll ever be to his children

Hi
Thx for the answer Barbie.
The eggs have hatched now. I have a container with a cirkulation pump that pumps water into the container from the tank.
Would it harm any of the fish if I put the cave, male and hatchlings into the container that is placed in the tank where they spawned?
Thx

It may stress the male a bit, but it shouldn't hurt anything. I have a few friends that use this method to make sure the fry don't escape into the main tank area. I have never bothered, personally, as they don't hurt the young if they DO get out of the cave, IME. If they escape too early their survival rate isn't terribly high, in the condo's, or out.
