Is it normal/usual to get a second spawn shortly after the first?

If the spawn failed, then how long after the eggs were removed did they spawn again? And if the spawn was successful, how long after the fry was either removed or left the cave?

Let me know if I should put months instead of weeks, if that's a better option!

I went back and checked the records, and my second was two weeks after the first

I think, without being able to check my records (at work at the mo) that I was roughly 8 weeks between my 1st and 2nd spawn. I'm wondering if the time between spawns will be shorter next time.
