I was just curious if any one here used Silica Sand for their Zebra set up. I read an article on it being dangerous to the gills of the fish because of the jagged edge, whats your experience with it? I have a few zebras I would like to move out to its own breeding tanks and set something up for them. Right now they are in a bare bottom tank. Let me know what your experience is..and what the best way of setting up a L46 breeding tank should be like.

I use silica pool filter sand in all of my tanks, never had an issue. Avoid the finer sands and you should be fine.
