strange substance in tank !!!!

Can anyone help????
we have 2 males and 2 females, and today we have noticed a cream/yellow powder like substance just outside of one of the males caves !!!! Very strange as all uneaten food is removed straight away, and we have never seen this before !!!
Does anyone have any ideas what this could be???
All fish are fit and healthy and thriving
