sexing golden nuggets

hi i have a golden nugget its about 3 inch long trying to sex it so can get it paired up and find it a lover 
dont want 2 males as are very aggressive and can kill each other while fighting for caves and food what is the best way to sex these fish ?? is it similar to zebs thanks
