Hello from Fremont California!
Hello from Fremont California!
Hi guys! just wanted to introduce myself. I'm myles. I was wondering if there's anyone near me who can show their zebra pleco collection. I'm getting really interested in these and would love to see them.

Caution is a most valuable asset in fish keeping, especially if you are the fish.

Re: Hello from Fremont California!
Welcome to the site, I think there are a few people from your area on the site.
Re: Hello from Fremont California!
Thanks! Yeah, I hope someone kind enough to show me their collection so that I can get tempted to get a few zebras.

yeah I know! I wish I was there so I can see your collection buddy.
Re: Hello from Fremont California!
Unfortunately I had to spend the past 2-3 years workign away form home too much, so I have gradually reduced my stock. I kept a few, but most of them went to a friend who will hopefully manage to continue with their breeding.
Considering I set the site up over 7 years ago, and have only recently got back into being involved with it, it seems a bit crazy that I give them away just when I start having abit of time again. That said, they went a to a good home

Re: Hello from Fremont California!
you still have some breeders for sale?
Re: Hello from Fremont California!
Unfortunately not. The fish I kept are fish that I have had for years and I couldn't let go of . This iscludes "george" from my first ever spawn which resulted in one cast-away egg floating about the bottom of the tank. (I hasten to add this is the only named fish I own )

What do you suggest to me since no one really has something near me? do i just buy a set?

Re: Hello from Fremont California!
Unfortunately I only kept 4, although I shoudl imagine at some point in time I will start them up again.
If possible I would definately recommend getting an established group if they are available. However be very careful if they are being sold as a breeding colony as these tend to go for a premium and it is difficult to prove.
Good luck.
