Hi guys...

what is the minimum time interval that a female zebra could spawn? (Time between two spawnings).
I ask this because I have a tank with 19 zebras and there are two caves with eggs :D . I do not know if the eggs are only a female or if they are from different females.

Thanks.

Does it mean that there are two females spawning??

If i have two caves with two males taking care off the eggs, would be possible that one of the males to destroy the eggs of the other cave ??

Thanks.

Yup most probably 2 females are spawning.
I guess both dads will be more focused on their own eggs, but there are never guaranties

I have a female that laid eggs 10 days apart and 17 day apart.
Good luck with your spawns.

My experiences jibe with what John said at about a month or so. For a few years while they were spawning I would get new eggs every two weeks from two different males. The total cycle times for each individual male to be on a new set of eggs was about 30 days. At the peak there were 3 spawns going with the newest being a couple of day old eggs and the oldest being almost bootable free swimmers.
