Slate caves 4 sale soon

If it's about fish in general, or it's a little bit random, then this is the place to post it.

Slate caves 4 sale soon

Post by Captain Caveman »

Hi everyone,

I'm a forum newbie but I know a couple of the members here. I'm going to have some slate caves ready for sale soon and I'm just gauging interest.

Internal dimensions 3.2 cm x 2.0 cm x 14.5 cm. Dimensions may vary by a few milimetres. Suitable for L046, Hypancistrus Zebra.

Here's a couple of pics.

Hi Captain,

Glad to see that you finally made it to the forum, it took enough arm twisting

Cheers for the caves the zebras like them, funny how they've chosen your caves in preference to the ones that I made :? .

Here's one of the captains caves:

The caves look good! How much would you charge for them Captain?

My God Adam, there's swarming with Zebras on that picture  Is that the cave where all the exciting things are happening at present?

Hi McEve,

This is the cave where things have been happening for the last month or so. The couple you see in there are long gone and have been replaced with another pair. I don't know why but a lot of zebras seem to hang around this cave all the time, from what I can make out they mostly look like females. A couple of the females around the cave have spent some time in the cave. The swarming behaviour only occurs around this one cave and not the others, the other caves just have a male in them  .

These caves take ages to make, what you see in the above pics has taken me 10 hours so far and they still need to be assembled together. Taking this into consideration, I think £8 plus postage and packaging covers my hard labour. I will post up some more payment and postage details just as soon as I have worked these all out. If you live in or near the London area feel free to come and pick them up from me at just £8 a cave.

The Captain.

Hi, I'm sorry, I wont be able to give a discount as it takes too long to make these caves. Just spent another three hours glueing them together.
I am thinking of offering another service where the customer provides the dimensions of the caves they require so as to cater for other spiecies.

Yeah that one wasn't glued yet. I stick them together using black aquatic silicon sealant, the stuff used for sealing aquariums.
