Tank turnover and Oxygen content at night

Ok I have a tank around 100 litres which is going to be exclusively used for a few Zebra's.

I have two Fluval 3 internal filters which each give a 700 litre turnover, and I have an Aquaclear 20 Powerhead (just used for waterflow, no air)which gives about 500 litres per hour and an Aquaclear 30 Powerhead which gives about 550-600 (with air being pumped into the tank).

Adding this up equals roughly 2400 litres per hour tank turnover. Thats 24x. Is that too much? The way I have postioned the filters and pumps ensures that there are very few 'dead spots' in the tank where food may settle.

Second question is... at night, can the Aquaclear 30 Powerhead be turned off? Its the one that pumps the air into the tank, but it makes a hell of a noise and its in my bedroom. In Rio Xingu, would oxygen content lower at night at all? The tank flow will still be 1900 liters an hour with the rest of the stuff, but this is the only powerhead which is giving off loads of bubbles.

Thanks

NO do not turn off the powerhead turn over is important but it is not the most important oxygen content in the water is the most important you do not want to wake up to died zebs in the morning

Ok, so it looks like that powerhead stays on, hope it won't give me bad dreams hehe.

As for tank turnover, I was told on another site that oxygen content is more important than water flow and people usually have a lot of flow because its that that gives the tank oxygen. They said that too much flow isn't good and will disturb the zebra's and will make food hard to settle, so should I turn the other powerhead (one thats not blowing air into the tank) off and stick with the two internal fluval 3 filters and the Aquaclear 30? That would make the turnover around 1900 litres per hour instead of 2400.

Are two Fluval 3 internals filters and 1 aquaclear 30 powerheads enough flow for a 100 litre zebra tank?

If the AquaClear is too noisy, you may want to try an Aquaball 1212, I had 2 of these on my 40 breeder zeb tank, but recently took one off, due to the fact that I have an AC70 and an Emperor 400 filter adding oxygen. The 1212 is pretty quiet, although it is not in my bedroom. I would love to have my zebra tank in my bedroom, but the wife wouldn't go for it ! And ya know what ? I'd miss her !! Good luck !!
