Has anybody bred Zebra with a ph of 8.0? I'm thinking of lowering my ph, using some almond leaves, what does everyone think of it? My tap water ph comes out @ 8.2. TIA Ricky.

Wow, that is low. I have to use a C02 to get my planted tank that low.

As the pH scale is logarithmic one, a pH of 7.8 is a lot less basic than one of pH8.2! Infact it is about five times less basic!
