hi i have my tank set up with 2 zebras in and happy.
i have an internal filter with a 600 l/p/h pump which i may upgrade to a 1000 l/p/h and also i have an external filter, a fluval 305 which is rated around 1000 or 1100 l/p/h.
the tank is a juwel 150 litre so the tank turnover is around 10x per hour. i also have an airstone to keep the water oxygenated. any comments would be appreciated on anything i may do to keep the babies happy.

i'm thinking of removing all the gravel in my tank and covering the bottom with slate. mainly this is to stop the annoyance of trying to hoover the remenance of the food in the morning as the food breaks up and goes deep into the gravel. would this affect the fish as i read in one of the guides it says that the gravel is good as the fish like to dig in the gravel. thanks

Should be no problems, a lot of people here use simple bare bottom tank setups, personally I use sand.

Zeebedee,
Very nice set up, but what is the hole near the botton on the right hand side

the hole is a vent for the internal filter which i have also put the external filter outlet in there to push water across the front.
Thank you

Looks a lot easier now to keep clean and I see you added more air stones, the zebs will be quite happy in there.
Good
