Hi Ev,

No problem, only too happy to help out a fellow zebra addict  . $630 doesn't seem like a bad price, last I heard they were around the $1000 mark.

Zebra prices in Aust

Post by Ev »

Hi to all,
Yeah it's taken me awhile to find someone to buy them off, I also thought around the $1000 would be the price. I have also bought a lot of other rare catfish that will come with the Zebra's.
I'm not to concened if they breed or not I just love the look of them, if they breed it will be a bonus.
I already have buyers If they breed.

Regards
Ev

Was it $630 for 1 Zebra or for the 6??

If this was for the 1, then whoa...thats expensive....works out to roughly £262.50 (STERLING) per fish.....

BUT, if it was for the 6, thats a very good price, working out to roughly £43.75 per fish.

At the moment, there is a single specimen going for £149.00 but this has two days left to bid....

The last "pair" I saw go on ebay went for £240...which is still cheaper than 1 of Ev's fish. :o

Adam,

What is the current price at Wildwoods for Zebras?. Probably now the most expensive in the UK. I think it might shock some on here.

Des,

The last time I was there they had some special offer weekend, there was 20% off almost everything except for the zebras  . They were priced up at £195 each and barely an inch long, I had a long chat with keith the fish manager and he said that once this batch had been sold the next lot were going to be an extra £50. They still have some of this batch left so haven't ordered the next lot that will be going for £245  . For the time being Dartford Aquatics hold the current UK LFS zebra price record which is £200. However they do have a generous special deal of £350 for two  .
