my first Zebra

After a Year of looking for Zebra I finally got my first two L046.
I just new in this breed so I couldn't tell the sex. I do understand that it hard to sex then at this age.
But maybe someone out the got more experiace than I do can give me a hand in sexinng them.

Hey chilli, congratulations man. :D
I know you have been after zebs for while, going by the WTB ads on plecofanatics.

I am so pleased you finally got a couple. At a wild guess you might be lucky enough to have gotten a pair too. The big one looks a male shape and the smaller one looks kinda female. Fingers crossed for you on that score.

They look bigger than my 2.5cm zebs already. Mine are just going to take forever to grow to a decent size. They are one of the most slow growing species I have even had.

Watch your water closely for nitrates. It is very easy to over feed and you need to keep a pretty close eye on that score.

My sole surviving zebra after a nasty pleco disease got the rest, is going great in the whiptails tank.
Unfortunately, I think he is going to grow up thinking he's an ottocinclus.
