Hi guys, after a long hiatus...I'm back into plecos. Anyways, my idea is to set up colonies of L066, L134 and L046. They will be hiding somewhere in my garage, so they are not show tanks, just functional. I will be using 55 gal tanks with dividers, so each tank will be divided in 27.5 gal each. Each half will have a 6-7 pleco species colony. Tanks will be barebottom, will have driftwood, slates and I was thinking ...simple 1" pvc pipe lengths as caves. Again, they are not show tanks, I just wonder if the plecos will mind....?

Good to hear you getting back into pleco's , are you still located in miami?
I tried the pvc pipe to, the fish did not seem to like it though.

Hi John...yes still in the Miami area. Might as well buy some slate caves...this is going to be a long time project, so might as well keep them comfy..
