I've been researching zebras for a couple years now, finally own a home of my own and have the space to set up a few new tanks to start a breeding group of zebras. Would like to know if anyone knows of anybody else on the west side of the United states that is an established breeder and may have some zebras they would part with

. On a side note I would like to add that this site kicks ass

!!!!! Does anyone else get yelled at by their significant other because they spend more time on this site than say.........sleeping

Welcome to the board! Have you worked with any other plecos before? If not, I'd definitely recommend starting a project and getting some experience with another type of Hypancistrus prior to practicing with zebras. it's good to hear you enjoy the site!

Hi, welcome! As Barbie says, you shouldn't really jump in and get the little zebs. We started off with some nugget & magnum plecs first, then decided we'd try to keep these little one. That was about 6-7 years ago, and they're still going strong
