Little ones yieha :)

Post by Briesje »

Hi people

Long time ago...

I wasn't expecting to be here today... The last year I just let the L046's live their life... Wasn't preparing myself for a spawn... Refreshing water, cleaning on regular base is all I do...

Today I came home (just arrived) and in one of the caves of my zebratank I saw a tiny little zebra... When he saw my shadow he flipped into the cave again with dad... Tonight I have my camera to take pictures... I want to know how much of them are in there...
I think they are a few days old, because I saw the stripes already clear?

What can I feed them? Should I remove them?
There's only one female ramirezi in the tank with the 5 zebs... Should I remove her?

I think that's my first spawn ever with zebs :)
Keep on smiling... you never know who'll fall in love with your smile...

Hi people

I finally managed it : some pictures :p

It's only 1 youngster ;) don't know how old she/he is...
(You should think : a little fish that measures around 0.40 inches / 1 cm)

Maybe there are more, but I don't think so... it's the first spawn ever... (for me :p)

As food I give them "Baby Fishfood Excel" (Aquatic Nature)... They say it replaces Shrimp (I guess that's the English name for Artemia??)...

Should I leave it in such a plastich floating thing??

Great news :)

Sounds like the same spawning method I used - leave them to it :D

From those piccys I'd guess they are about 6 weeks old...
