Anything I should do?

Hi
there is finally some activity in my tank.

When I came home Saturdaynight I noticed my female was sharing a cave with my male. Sundaynight she was still in there but when I checked on them this morning she had left the cave but there were no eggs. She was still hanging around though. When I checked on them 10 minutes ago she was trying her best to get in there again but he was playing hard to get.
Because this is the first time for me I was wondering if there is anything I can/should do. Should I keep feeding them and change water or should I just leave them alone?

good news
Leave them too it - it took ours about 8 weeks of to'ing and frow'ing before we ended up with a spawn
finger crossed - we left them too it completely for 7 of those (eg only feeding no water changes)
I wouldn't advocate this as a general way to get them to spawn though - keep an eve on the nitrates etc if you do leave them to it though

Nothing you really can do at the moment flip, just sit back and enjoy the ride!

Thanks guys
I am enjoying it, I was just looking at them for a while and she keeps trying to get in the cave but it looks like he won't let her in. Is this normal?

No sorry mate, this male likes clay caves better than slate ones... but my other male wouldn't trade his slate cave for the world so I'm still happy with your caves

I agree with Smithrc, leave'em to it. Sounds like your almost there anyway, with a bit more patience you should hopefully have a result fairly soon.

Hi flip,
Sonner or later you will find out the good news.
From now, just do as usual and maintain the regular rutting as you did before.
cheers

I've just found two eggs next to the male's cave...

I've checked the cave but he isn't sitting on eggs. I've put the eggs is a trap but I don't think they are fertilised. I guess they just need some more practise?
