I have heard that female's are like gold dust do you think there is any chance of getting any out of this group. Also i am interested in buying ZM food do you

A big welcome Steflo 46 to the site.
You have a 50/50 chance of getting a female, so good luck! Try to get the fry from different parents to keep the blood strains strong & stop interbreeding.
I remember getting my first fry only 9 months ago so know how exciting it is, i will be soon setting up a fourth tank for my little fella's.

(understanding wife!)
I can't comment on zm foods as i don't use them, i feed mine varied, tetra prima , carnivore pellets, livefood & all doing well!
Good luck.

Ofcourse not all tapwater is "ideal" for breeding or keeping zebs, but my zebs breed and live happy in the tapwater provided here, so for me it's no use in bothering with ro-water.

I use a mix of RO water and tap because the hardness of the water where i live has a GH off about 26 degees which i fill is a bit high for zebs as they prefer softer water
