What size cave do you use?

I currently have rectangular caves that are 4inches(10.16cm) long, 0.75inches(1.9cm) tall, and 1.25 inches(3.18cm) wide.

I wonder if longer caves, 6inches(15.2cm), would be better for breeding.

COuldn't hurt could it? Put a couple bigger ones in there and see what happens.

Mine are 6 inches (? cm) long and 2.2cm high and 3.2cm wide.
This was the size that was used by the pair that bred for me. Just today saw a female trapped in the same cave by the male.
I would say that 4" is too small, as the female has to be trapped in the cave by the male behind her. 2 X 3" fish= 6".
