This is gonna be difficult from only this pic.
Can be either a very fat not fully grown male or a female that's ready to spawn.....
If i had to choose i would tend to say : female

i would say female too, based on the small pelvic fins and the pinched look above the pectorals Body shape alone cannot tell decicevly, but together with these other two signs, yes... I think it's a girl.
