Feeding Adults

Post by ZebMan »

Hi,
Friday I will be picking up 5 Adult Zebs (can't wait!). I read a few threads on what they like to eat so I have that covered. I was just curious if there was a general rule of how much to feed adult zebs? Some fish it's as much as they can eat in 2 or 3 minutes, but I don't think that will work with zebras because they are a shy fish. Should I put food in the tank than remove any leftover in a few hours?

With new fish it might be a good idea to feed just after lights out in the evening, and then remove any leftovers in the morning.

Congrats on your new fish! :)

Thanks Eve! I will post some pic's Friday night. The ratio should be 2M and 3FM, but I will need expert opinions to make sure. :D
