oh, i have to say that they like the caves. my two biggest males have their own private caves. *g* they never leave it. the smaller ones often change the caves.

on the left side is a special construction. it is a breeding tank out of glass on a special substructure out of glass, too. becuase it is not possible to hang up the small breeding tank at the top. the power head is just between the stilts.

the tank has 200 liters. 1m x 0,4m x 0,5m

looks great Have you noticed if the fish prefer the caves on the bottom before the ones on the first floor, or is there noe difference? have you had fry on both levels?

my alpha is very dominant, he had 3 spawns in the same cave, the third at the bottom from the left. i just had only 3 spawns. but they prefer both levels. in the picture you can see my second biggest male lying in a cave on the higher level.

Great! That opens up for a lot of creative aquascaping, like you have I like it!

I'm curious, do you have any snails in the substrate?
