Hello

I used to have a very heavily planted tank that had a thick layer of Laterite under the gravel. Many plecs have been in this tank and thrived.
The only problem is that during water changes and gravel cleaning it does stir it up a bit and cloud the water for a while.

I’m planning on turning this into a zeb tank as I have been bitten by the bug – and was wondering if you guys have any experience with L46 and Laterite?
Do you think it will be ok?

Actually - ignore that! (Sorry.)

After much reading, I have decided to do away with the fine gravel and go for sand instead.
