Hello all

Post by stang1 »

Hello everyone, just wanted to introduce myself.
My name is Angie, mother of two girls and partner to Steve.
We just brought some Zebra Plecos today and are hoping to breed them. We believe we have 2 males and 2 females but they are still quite small, so difficult to sex!
They've only been in there new home for about 3 hours and I'm yet to take photos. After a 3 hour journey collecting them and putting them in their new home, we've decided to let them settle before we go camera crazy!
We are not new to Plecos, currently have 11, but we are new to breeding. We have done quite a lot of research, most of it being from this site and are confident that we can give our new additions the care they need.
Any help or advice would be very much appreciated as we want to get it right!
Look forward to chatting to you all,
Angie :)

Thanks Mac.
I think this site is great, been lurking for quite a while now!
Be warned though, I may be asking plenty of questions. :D

Hey stranger :)

Quite chuffed for you - I remember how excited I was when we got ours (and nervous about the money too!)

Hi Russell,
Thanks for the welcome, good to see you on here.
Money side was nerve wracking but they really are worth it! Never realised how beautiful they were. Believe it or not, I'd never seen one in the flesh (so to speak) until we brought them!

Hi Civicr,
Thanks for the nice welcome! :)
