Introducing new fish into colony

Post by Lifted193 »

Hi everyone
I have heard of problems with new zebras being added into establish zebra group....any suggestions on adding new fish into group without harm?....I have a small group of 5 F1's adults...have not spawn yet...I think the ratio is 3m 2f, would like to add a few more, they are in a 40 gal 36x15x18.
thanks

re-arrange the tank when you add the new fish - that way any established teratories will be messed up and hopefully everyone will be able to sort it out again with the new zeb sorting it out at the same time....

you may still get a bit of agro while they sort out ranks :)
