Just to get your opinons of competitions. Do you think we should have them?

Its great to be able to win stuff

I think it was a shame there was only 1 entrant to the artical comp - dosnt really represent us very well does it

I guess we all need to have a little more belief in what we know and how we can help others... I know I feel like a beginner in the world of zebras but there is loads of other areas that i can offer help and advise - I just need to recognise it

Now, photo comps... I'm there

How do I vote yes...and I want to participate?

Competitions are great & I'd loved to have entered the last one but with only 4mnths experience of keeping Zebras I wasn't exactly in a possition to give advice!!!

Do keep them coming - it's great to participate & possibly win new goodies!!

OK, So I am going to be a little biase, but I think they are a good thing.

There are three main reasons why I think the Comps are a benefit to the site:

1. They assist in building a community spirit, that enables the site to grow and which is, I guess the easiest way to help educate and assist our members.

2. They are a good way of increasing the Sites resources, which once again is a good way to educate and assist our members.

3. We get to give away some goodies!!!!!!!!!!!

ON that note, just to make you all profoundly Jealous!!!

Now if that doesn't get everyone Jealous I don't know what will.

One of the reasons we offered such a big prize with this comp was to try and get people interested enough to write their articles. The idea being that it will help us build up a library. FOr some reason this didn;t work, so we need to find out why.

So I guess what we should be asking is, if the prizes don't tempt people, what should we do?

I bet if I put a Zeb up as a prize it would get some interest!!!
