Growth Rate?

In your experiece, about how fast do Zebs grow?
I've had a trio for a little over a year now; they're about 1.5 years old. Last January when I got them, they were about 1.5" long. Now they're between 2-2.5"- is that normal, or should they be larger?
My little guys are really fat too

I was worried that they were growing really slowly; but as long as that sounds correct, I shall not lose sleep over them.
