Illegal export

Looks like it's still happening, which would come as no surprise. The good news is that the trade (or part of it) is trying to stop it. see

I'd like to encourage everybody to be sceptical and ask questions about the origin of the fish if you find WC Zebras in a LFS, or if you're a wholesaler, see them on a list, in order not to inadvertently support the illegal exportation of Zebras.

I would caution anybody considering an auction from Germany to the US, Canada or UK. About 3 years ago me & several others were had by somebody in Germany. The deal looked too good to be true. I lost $1,350 for a breeding colony that was never sent. The guy stalled us, even outdid Paypal by removing the funds quickly. We even put detectives in Germany, to no avail. A few were able to recover through Visa/ M/C. A few of us were not that lucky. As we learn, regardless; transportation from Germany to US, takes a minimum of 3-4 days...impossible to do overnight. Not worth the risk, regardless of Seller's feedback. Again, this is just my opinion; but remember that scamers change names quickly...

if you would buy all zebra's this guy claims to have it would cost you at least $55.000 US Dollar
55 adult at a $980 per pair makes $25.850 (this is start bidding price)
150 juveniles at $1.950 per 10 makes $29.250(fixed price)
so that's slightly over $55.000 total (and that's without the blue zaire's)

LMAO, what are you like? There's so many things I could say in reply to that comment. It's best that I don't for fear of someone opening up a whole can of whoop a$$ on me.
Lets just say you might want to renegotiate your monthly rate.
On a seriuos note I wonder if there is any milage in knocking up a sticky of "safety" tips when purchasing zebras online?
