hey all.

finaly I made a clear picture of my largest zebra, I think its female.

it's almost 8cm (over 3,1 inch)

iv been trying to save enough money for a macro lense (i say trying because i always manage to spend it on fish ) for my camera (Canon EOS 1ds mk2) but iv got no idea which one is best for fish photography. could you tell me what set up and equipment you used for this pic? iv never did any macro work at uni so although iv got a degree in photography its basically useless when it comes to photographing fish

I use a canon ixus 65, but it takes a lot of time to take a good picture.

its just a camera for in the pocket.
and offcourse the zebra isn't moving all the time

here's another pic that I made today, I boucht some mortenthaleri today, got 27 now

you can use a tripod and a lot of luck

yes, he says 99% change female because the male's from the same group had much more hair.
from the top it's diffucult to say, when I bought it it looks a bit thin, just look at the belly.

but I will try to get another pic from above
