Hi All,
I just noticed that one of my 3+ month old fry has
Deformed Pectoral Fins (They Curve Upward). I have also noticed this type of deformity in Angel Fish Fry. Is there anything I can do to prevent this or is it genetic? The parents are F0’s and my tanks are very clean. I do frequent (2 or 3 @ 25%) water changes a week. Please see the picture below and note the LEFT FIN!

*(Please, Information and Suggestions Wanted)

Thank You, Jeff

If it's only one of your fry i wouldn't worry about it, deformities come in every living species and there is nothing you can do about it.

Are you sure it is deformed and not just injured?
Either way i don't think there is much you can do other than see how it turns out as it grows.

I've seen it before and i have on this subject the same theory as on bulldog fry, i think both those deformities are caused by the male while guarding his fry and probably crush them to much to the back end of the cave.
Any comments on this theory are welcome!
