Sexing L316 Jari Zebra Pleco

hi guys,

just got a pair of these jari zebra pleco's (L316). i want to confirm that they are 316's and also if i do have a true pair.

I think you've got L400 there
Can't confirm a pair, altough #2 is a male and #1 could be female

Miezekatze, can you post a photo of an L400 from the side if you have one.
i have 30 of these that have come in as L316's and i would really help me to see a decent pic of an L400. my aqualog runs out at about L350

you can not define a L400 or L399 by stripe pattern like you define a zeb because every specimen of those species is differently patterned

Anyone care to translate this line for me...

translation tools are all well and good but it still makes no sence to me :)
