Hi
I know this sounds too obvious but test your water condition.
I have found over the years that when my fish behave differently than usual they are looking to breed or there has been some slight change in the water condition. Always best to be safe that sorry

At 12-15 months old these are still juveniles... Think of it as playgroung bullying.
Would be intresting to see some video footage of this behaviour.
And I suppose as Jo says a water test wont hurt either.
good luck.

Stop mothering them you big girls blouse. If the water is fine, then this would be a case of too much worrying!
They are trying to establish a heirarchy. I call it bullying.

As long as we got some spare time left (after we have taken care of our zebs) to spend with girlfriend/wife there is nothing to worry right
