Well, I am new and I am intrigued by the site.. Was looking around to start a breeding project with these beautiful fish ,yet as they are so expensive, it is hard...!! I've read in a lot of places that there were breeders that were wanting to do what i want to do and that is make these guys more available to the local public and not pay 10 X's the price...
I am a hobbiest and recently took interest in different Plecs.. The zebra is one of which I have always wanted but could not afford.. Here it seems that the same goal for thsi sp. is prevelent.. So if it is possible that there really is interest in spreading the availability let me know..
Utah sure could use some help
as we have none of these around our local forumns or lfs.. Too spendy to even stock ..
Hopefully in the next 6 to 8 mos. I'll have my own little project started And Zebras will be in UTAH
Plus i am new to breeding Plecs.. I only have a few tanks and they are all display now.. this would be one of few projects i have started or continued I go to our local breeders for other things
