Greetings,

I am just getting my first groups settled in and after 3 days they appear to be fine. I just got in a fresh batch of live CA blackworms for my Corys. Are they safe to feed adult Zebs? If so, OK to leave extras in tank or remove? TYVM - Frank

Hi. They are adults. All are 2" plus. I put a little in the tank and they went nuts for it. Came out and attacked the worms. Quite vicious little buggers. :D TYVM for your help. - Frank

They were already on a diet of blackworms Frank, it's definitely safe to feed them until you've got fry. I actually haven't had any problem with fry trying to eat the live blackworms, but I lost 10 in one fell swoop when I fed frozen bloodworms once. Definitely plan on reconsidering your feeding strategy once you have bebbies ;). For now, the blackworms will help condition them like nothing else!

Barbie,
I was useing blackworms then switched to Hikari frozen bloodworms because I was afraid of bacteria on the live worms. Do you think this is a valid concern?
