Nice tank. Though I am concerned it is by the window. Too much light can cause algae growth. Also, I am not sure if anything is outside your window, like if you have a tree or something. If there is a bad storm and a tree branch breaks through the window, it could possibly break the tank as well.

i too would move it away from the window and why dont you fill the tank all the way to the top?

thank you for all comments.
first, outside the window is nothing so no tree to break the window in and i will keep the blind shut to prevent algae.
second, i keep the level of the water that way becuase i want to leave the space fo the spray head. in case i want the generate some bubble with some noise so i can move the spray head up a little bit.
one question, do you think the color of the sand will stress the zebra?
the light is "FILIGHT F20 T8 SLB RED" it looks little blue so the water looks clearer.

what kind of sand is it?
i think as long as its not meant for saltwater/reef then it would be fine, maybe a lot more caves, cover, crevices for them to retreat to.

i am not really sure what type of sand is that. may be have to go back to the store and ask the seller again

i guess the cave i have look too small than the zebras i just got. (the pics in male or female section) so i guess i have to find two mores.

Sorry, have to say that i think your sand looks to white and your light to bright for zebra's to feel comfortable.
You can put some floating plants in the tank to dim your lighting.
As for the caves ... let your zebs decide if they like them, you'll find out quick enough if they like them.

thank you john and thebuddy, i have to wiat for a couple week since this i have to run the filter system to prevent new tank syndrome. after that i will post for an update again.
ps. for the size of the cave i guess it is not fit for my zebra since the biggest one is bigger than a hole(i guess)
i mean this one in the picture.

Most fish get stressed from extreme bright lights and feel secure hiding in a dark area. They also may get stressed if the substrate reflecting some of the bright lights, which the photo aove appears to show.

I don't use direct lighting on my zeb tanks, just the room lighting and the light above my discus tanks comes in, the zeb tanks are also not near a window so no direct sunlight comes in.
What do you mean by BT?
