regarding tank currents

my tank is being turned over about 12 times an hour

is this too much? can the fish handle the currents?

how strong is the current compared to the river??

If you are talking about zebra's, they are real river fish, so I guess that is rather favourable than a problem.
I don't have an idea how 12 times an hour looks like. But how does it look like? How do the zebra's behave? If they are active and eat well then they are probably happy.

My tank turns over a bit more than 30 times an hour, at last check. I'm pretty sure they'll do fine at 12 ;)

My tank turnover is 17 times an hour, the zebras seem to be fine with it. The only problem is at feeding times, food gets flung to every corner of the tank and remains in suspension if I don't switch off the power head.
