Hi all! I found your site by accident by looking up zebra pleco for my son. We saw one that was on hold at the LFS and he "has to have one". So I was looking at them. I'll post questions in another place for all to see.

I hope you find by readin through the articles and the posts on this site that a Zebra *might* not be the right pet for a four year old. I'm sure you realize that it's always the parents that will get the responsibility of the pets though, so I'm confident you'll read as much as you can and maybe some day even breed this fish.

As the situation is now it might be better to consider buying a group (if you can find one) and breed them instead of getting one as an ornamental fish to look at just because it's pretty.
