Which Blue are you talking a about?
There are several on this site, and one in particular has prompted many discussions.
If this is the blue, then search the site and think about it.

1. Hmm... i know that one of the biggest exporter in Brasil
did export some L46 after the ban and one guy of the company
was put into jail for 1 month for it... of course, this act should
never be encouraged!!
2. i am of course NOT the "blue" that zebra_man mentions.
Although i have WC zebra pleco, i have no intention to sell
any of them...

I have read a post on another forum that asks the same questions.
The answer from blue was; These "wild caught" zebras are sourced from someone (in the US) who bought them before the ban. I hope that answers your question.
I will try to dig up the link.

Looked at the site, if only 2.5", unlikely to be wild before the ban.
While I am against the export of these fish, in New Zealand they are no doubt few and far between.
Also I have some fish, perhaps some members in the US who have contacts could look into this and pester them as is the recent case in the UK which appears to have been a hoax.
A dilemna I know, if illegal exports or tank bred they are going to be sold, so I wouldn't blame you whatever you do.
Come on American cousins investigate and show you care.

I am just saying what I have read elsewhere... I am not in the habit of bieng a salesman for someone I've never met on the other otherside of the pond.
I can't speak for blue, but how about sending him an email to acertain the genuine status?
I hate posts like these... the tendency to lynch is powerful amongst us.
Another thing, isn't this another case of fake "wild caught" L046?
"Wild caught" usually means tank bred but falsely advertised these days.

No doubt he got them smuggled, he just told everyone that alibi to throw them off his tail (he's a member on PF and I'm sure he saw that thread). He gets adults regularly, about once every 3-6 months - I'm not sure how many but I think I heard the figure 20 being thrown around.
He is located in New Jersey, not sure if we have any members from there who can check out what's the deal with him. But even if they do, there's no way you can confiscate them - you need to find the exporter who's smuggling them to him.
