Hello All.

Can anyone tell me which foods have been successfull for young Zebra fry please. I know that in the past I have lost some fry which have choked on blood worm, can anyone make any suggestions please?

Many thanks,

I have always used Tetra Prima Mini Granules which have been effective. I will feed them just before lights out. then in the morning suck up any uneaten food and put fresh food in again. Always very small quantities and offen.

If you can feed more offen than this then even better.

However in may last spawn I decided to feed daphnia (frozen) This alternated with the granules seemed to give a better growth rate than the basic granules.

This is only what I have used though so please dont take it as gospel.

Hope it helps

Hi, I feed mine Tetra tabs, frozen bosmides and red plancton.

BBS would also be good of course, and is used a lot

Thanks for this, I'll give them a try.

Do people usually remove the fry from the parents or leave them all together?? I used to float a small tank in the parents tank and put the fry in the smaller one, is this method still used??

I always leave my fry with the group, but opinions vary on this point.
