I agree. Number 3 has a rather broad head and large pelvic fins for it to be a female.

Mceve......if you dont mind me asking, what camera do you use to photgraph your fish? your pics always look imaculate (aswell as your fish) but whenever i try to take photos of my group at close up in a container for sexing they are always blurry ...........

This picture was taken with a Nicon coolpix7900. I always use that camera for macro, as the coolpix 8800 has mounted the flash so that the lens cast a shadow on half the picture
If your camera has a setting for macro you'd want to use that to avoid blurry pictures.
