the size would be very important to know.

I would say: left female, right male

They are about 5.5 - 6 cm. (don't know how much that is in inches)

in germany we use cm, so its perfect.. ^^ it would be pretty cool if you have some pictures where we can see the (odontoden) ?! don't know hows called in english.. ^^

I've added another picture to the url... maybe that one is better.

At 5-6cm they're still only half the size they will be as adults. They're probably about a year old? Teenagers..... they're all arms and legs at that age

I'd put a cave in the tank and see who claims it. That would be the male. At that age it's very hard to give an accurate guess, at least for me!

They both have similar features. Softly-rounded heads and small pelvic fins indicate two females. But now to think of it, the right one might be a girly-male.

Two young males.

I've added 2 pics of the right one. You can see some little black spots, does that help ??
