I have mostly cichlids and I would like to start adding some catfish (mainly the L046), but before I drop a $1000 in Zebra Plecos I'd like to know I can care for and breed them. So I was wondering if there is another catfish out there that require about the same care and spawns in the some fashion.
Thanks All!

All of the Hypancistrus family will spawn in pretty much the same fashion, with a few other species fitting in also. There are spawning articles at http://www.planetcafish.com under the Ancistrinae Internet Lecture and the chat lecture by Larry Vires in Shane's World that are always a good place to start. Then moving onto the fish of the month articles for Hypancistrs and the other reproduction articles should give you a good start!

a good example would be the L260 queen arabesque...
Could you add where you're from to your profile.
