hi there maybe a stupid q, i am thinking of using sand ,

what types of sand do you use with your zebras. 1cm deep will not be too deep i expect would i boil it to treat it also ? thanks in advance

Not to sure about depth, some people recomend a 'thin sprinkling' others a good inch or so (with trumpet snails to keep it turned over and prevent detritus building up and going anerobic). I believe a popular sand is kids play pit sand, as it is relatively cheep, clean and has no additives in it.
