Hi pandadosmares,

Thats a very good price you're paying for your zebras, 100€(£69). The average price for zebras in the UK is £85(121€ ). The germans seem to be paying a lot for their zebras, 200€(£139). Mind you the japanese are paying up to £200(286€). However zebras are about $85 in the US that works out to £45 or 64€, the americans definately get the best deal.

I just worked out what I paid for my 20 zebras, I could have got 40 at US prices.

Now that I've depressed myself I think I'll go and do some work.

If it's any comfort, that US price is not retail. The cheapest I've seen them on retail lists is 70 dollars in the last year, and the one import list that's consistently had them is 45 dollars a piece, before shipping. 85 bucks is basically going to be your cost landed from a wholesaler, not what they regularly sell for, unless they are tank raiseds.

It seems that in germany the L46 from the wild are cheaper than the ones that were breed
must due to the fact of the long period before they are in size worth selling

Barbie,
What is the average retail price of L046 in the US?.
I had an e-mail from a Brazilian supplier currently quoting US $70 before shipping so Youve gota good deal if your suppliers are quoting $45.
Regards,
Des.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with mixed marriages, not too sure what society the offspring would be accepted in though.
